Wavecore is designed to play and organize music without requiring an account or uploading your music library to Wavecore servers. This policy explains the limited situations in which information is processed on your device or sent to third-party services.
Wavecore processes the audio files you choose to import, together with information stored in or associated with those files, such as track title, artist, album, duration, tags, and embedded or selected artwork. This processing supports importing, organizing, displaying, playing, editing, and exporting your music.
Imported audio is stored and processed on your device. Wavecore does not upload the imported audio itself to Wavecore servers. Your files may leave the app only when you choose an action such as exporting or sharing them, or when you use a system or third-party service outside Wavecore.
Release versions of Wavecore use Google Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash reports and related diagnostic information automatically. Depending on the event, this information may include stack traces, relevant application state, diagnostic logs, timestamps, app version, device model, operating-system information, and installation or session identifiers generated for crash reporting.
This information is used only to identify crashes, diagnose technical problems, measure their impact, and improve the app's stability and performance. Crashlytics reports are not used for advertising or cross-app tracking, and imported audio files are not attached to them. Google processes Crashlytics data on our behalf under its Firebase privacy and security terms.
Some optional features contact third-party services only after you request them. If you search for or refresh track metadata or artwork, Wavecore sends relevant search terms—such as a track title, artist, or album—to Apple or iTunes search endpoints so that matching information or artwork can be returned. The imported audio file itself is not sent with the search.
If you choose to search for lyrics, Wavecore opens a Google search in your browser using a query that contains relevant track metadata, such as the track title and artist. Google and your browser may receive the query and standard network information. Wavecore does not upload the audio file as part of this action.
These third parties process information under their own policies. You can review the Apple Privacy Policy and the Google Privacy Policy for details.
Wavecore may let you create or share a diagnostic report when you ask for support. Sharing is optional and occurs only when you explicitly choose to send the report. A report may contain technical information relevant to the issue, such as app and operating-system versions, device characteristics, app state, settings, and recent diagnostic logs. Information you add to an email or support message is also included in your communication.
Support information is used to investigate and respond to your request. Before sending a report, you control whether to share it and which available destination to use.
Wavecore does not require or provide a Wavecore account. The app does not display third-party advertising, use Apple's advertising identifier (IDFA), request App Tracking Transparency permission, or track you across apps and websites for advertising. We do not sell personal information or music-library data.
Wavecore shares information only as needed for the features described above: with Google Firebase Crashlytics for crash reporting and diagnostics; with Apple or iTunes endpoints for user-requested metadata and artwork searches; and with Google Search and your browser when you request a lyrics search. Apple also processes App Store purchases and restores through StoreKit; Wavecore receives transaction and entitlement status but not your full payment-card details.
We may disclose support communications or diagnostic information if reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, protect users, or maintain the security and integrity of Wavecore. We do not otherwise disclose imported audio or track metadata to third parties for their own advertising purposes.
Imported audio, metadata, artwork, and related app data remain on your device until you remove them through the app, delete the app, or manage them using available device controls. User-initiated search information is handled by the relevant third party under its own retention practices. Crashlytics data is retained according to Google's Firebase retention practices.
Diagnostic reports and support communications that you voluntarily send are kept only as long as reasonably necessary to investigate and respond to your request, maintain appropriate records, protect the app and its users, and meet legal obligations. You may contact us to ask about or request deletion of information you sent directly to support, subject to applicable legal and security requirements.
We may update this Privacy Policy when Wavecore's features or legal obligations change. The revised policy will be posted on this page with an updated date.
